Spain – 1st quarter 2015

Q1 2015 starts with 290 sold units, this is better than previous years, and follows the global trend. In March, sales increased further, reaching over 150 units sold – Indicating that this year can become interesting in Spain. More than double of Q1 2014 were sold, with the increase of 106 % in sales.

Slow market, increasing PHEV

This year also, PHEVs grow faster than pure EVs, with about 20 % market share in the PEV market. The market in Spain is highly lagging, there is a lack in incentives, infrastructure is not established, etc.
